Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is once again the RICHEST person on the planet, with a net worth of a hundred and ten BILLION dollars! He took the top spot back from Amazon’s CEO Jeff Bezos, who’d held the title for the past two years. The switch is partly because Microsoft shares have been soaring, and partly because Bezos’ divorce settlement cost him about 38 billion. But don’t feel bad for him – as the world’s SECOND richest person, he’s still worth nearly a hundred and NINE billion.
Of course, that’s peanuts compared to the world’s most valuable COMPANY. Aramco, Saudi Arabia’s national petroleum and natural gas company, could be worth as much as one point seven TRILLION dollars! The monopoly announced plans to sell one point five percent of its shares in a partial privatization, and its estimated share price would give the corporation the record valuation. And it’s VERY likely it’ll get that estimated share price – Aramco is already the world’s most PROFITABLE company!
And a painting on display at Wales’ National Museum Cardiff, has been CONFIRMED as an authentic work by Sandro Botticelli! Experts used infrared photography on “The Madonna and Child” to study its under-drawing, which showed details that were “unmistakably” in Botticelli’s studio style. And even more importantly, they found a DOODLE of a man’s profile, which was “almost inarguably” drawn by the Renaissance master. To PROBABLY quote the museum director, “CHA-CHING!” Don’t go away!
