Beautiful Nudes, Hot Naked Females, Naked News, Nude Weather Girls, Video

Hello, one and all, I’m Eila Adams, and welcome to the start of another wonderful week at Naked News! Now, since this is a longstanding web-based program, we’re VERY familiar with the problems caused by online piracy. To bring you up to speed, here’s Marina with a story that should inspire some thought bubbles in Naked Goes Pop.

We know piracy is a big problem for music, movies and TV shows… but there’s another major creative industry that’s being hit hard, one you may not have thought of: comic books!

Comic book writer Jim Zub recently started a Twitter thread about how piracy is hurting the industry, and it was quite the eye-opener! He noted that comics are viewed TWENTY TIMES as often through illegal sharing than they are through legitimate purchases! He also pointed out that because of today’s rapid consumption of media, that “visibility boost” never ends up translating to sales!

Now, as I said, piracy is a problem in a lot of artistic industries. But because the digital files for pictures are so much smaller than those for video or even audio, they’re easier for piracy sites to host. And because the profit margins can be so small, a lot of comic creators are especially feeling the pinch!

It IS hard to figure out exactly what the damage is. Obviously, there are things people only consume because they’re free, so you can’t say every illegal download would otherwise have been a sale. But speaking as someone whose work ALSO shows up on pirate sites, piracy definitely costs us money, and it’s not right.

So I’m going to introduce you to a new slogan that you should apply to comics, TV, movies, music… and even porn: If you see something, PAY something! For Naked News, I’m Marina Valmont.
