Laura Ponticorvo is a Dutch-Italian media personality. She participated in a number of Dutch programs and is best known for her participation in the program My dirty, Fat, Nasty Fiancé . Ponticorvo was born in Belgium, but moved at the age of seven to Friesland because her parents were running a hotel. Ponticorvo graduated at the Dance Academy in 2008. Lucia Marthas . She played in two musicals of Joop van den Ende . These were André van Duin ‘s revue , and High School Musical . She then decided to freelancing on dance and acting area. Ponticorvo moved to Amsterdam and took part in the program X Factor , where she finished in the last five women. Ponticorvo was assistant to illusionist Georges Hilaul in the show Dreams Live . In 2012 Ponticorvo participated in My Dirty, Fat, Nasty Fiancé . She was linked to a man who was her opposite in every way. She had to convince her family that she was engaged to this man and got married within two weeks. This succeeded and won 50,000 euros, of which half was for her family. She participated in the 2013 Stars Dancing on Ice . During the training she bruised her left shoulder blade and tendons. She took in 4 show a record number of points, namely three tens and a nine. There was a fuss about her participation because of her experience in skating. She finished second. In Because I Am A Girl: Knock-Out took four ambassadors including Ponticorvo, Zarayda Groenhart , Jasmine Sendar and Vivienne van den Assem face off in the boxing ring. They fought each for their own theme and for young women and girls in developing countries who can not themselves. In March 2015 she was seen in RTL 5 program Shopping Queens .
