“This was an incredible opportunity to create art with the female form in collaboration with Playboy,” says Newcomer, Jessica Lawson. In Byron Bay, Australia, Jessica is happy to be on set with the photographer, Jennifer Stenglein, in her home country. “We reenacted a 1979 cover that featured Bo Derek, which was a timeless shoot,” says Jessica. “I’m all about classic beauty. What an honor to be a part of [this] brand.” When it comes to posing nude, Jessica calls it an act of self-celebration. “Posing nude is celebrating yourself as a woman sitting comfortably in your own skin,” she says. “Sometimes, it’s a journey to get there.
