Pharell Williams says that happiness is feeling like a room without a roof. We can only guess at the meaning of this metaphor. I do know that when I took Helena De Sesa to the rooftop of Brentwood Plaza on Wilshire, I was happy. Helena’s smile is contagious. It was a bright hot day, but it takes a lot more than uncomfortable weather to break the spirit of this young woman. Helena has a great voice and works hard towards her singing aspirations.
