Welcome back to the Naked Newsroom! It LOOKS like Sunday’s Super Bowl will be declared the MOST-watched EVER! Fox has projected that an average of a hundred and twenty-six MILLION people watched the game across all viewing platforms! That would top the hundred-and-twenty-three-point-seven million record set LAST year. And get this – during the second quarter, at a point when the Eagles were up a surprising seventeen-nothing, viewership peaked at a whopping hundred-and-THIRTY-FIVE million!
The US is in for some wicked weather. Over two hundred million Americans could be in for a NASTY few days! Several winter weather alerts are in effect as storms are predicted to dump snow and ice for thousands of miles from the Rockies to the Atlantic coast. Up to forty states could be affected… and it’s not just snow! In parts of the south-central and southeastern U.S., there’s a high risk of serious thunderstorms bringing up to ten inches of rain.
And finally today, Airbus planes COULD someday have two PHYSICAL levels of seating! The company is “exploring… early stage concepts” with a startup called Chaise Longue that has designed a unique seating arrangement. The layout puts seats in a vertical zig-zag that gives extra legroom and better reclining than most economy seats. The collaboration looks pretty cool and is still in early development, but if the design will squeeze in more passengers, it’ll probably roll out some day soon!
