Okay, Sarah, the price of eggs. They’re going up and I’m wondering at what point do you try to find alternatives, or just give up on them altogether? Well, a lot of businesses don’t really have a choice and RELY on eggs, and the rising cost is making them rethink how they charge customers.

Ladies, first it was the Waffle House chain that started tacking a fifty-cent-per-egg surcharge on its menu items. And now, it looks like Denny’s is following suit! In a statement, the chain, with more than 1500 locations in the U.S. said it will add a temporary surcharge to its egg-based meals at some of its locations. It did not say which restaurants will be affected nor did it say how much the surcharge will be. This comes after egg prices close in on 5 dollars a dozen due to a nationwide shortage because of bird flu.
Remember 2017’s Fyre Festival? You know, the event promoted by celebrities and influencers, which imploded into a chaotic disaster,
ending up with its organizer, Billy McFarland, sentenced to six years in prison? Well, he’s just announced Fyre Festival 2 for the May thirtieth long weekend, in Isla Mujeres, Mexico! Nearly NO details were provided, with McFarland just saying there’d be “international and local talent” and “boundary-pushing excursions”. But I figure anyone who goes for this deserves whatever happens! Or DOESN’T happen!
And finally today, look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a PLANETARY PARADE! A whopping SEVEN planets are set to be visible for periods tonight through Friday night! Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn will be viewable with the naked eye, but Uranus and Neptune will need a telescope. This will be the last planetary parade until 2040, so fingers crossed all you stargazers get clear skies at least ONE of these nights!
