“This was an incredible opportunity to create art with the female form in collaboration with Playboy,” says Newcomer, Jessica Lawson. On location in Byron Bay, Australia, this Australian model is happy to be on set with the photographer, Jennifer Steinglen. “I remember flicking through a vintage Playboy looking at the women’s bodies, and I could hardly draw my eyes away,” says Jessica of her first encounter with Playboy. “I’m all about classic beauty. What an honor to be a part of the brand.” When it comes to posing nude, Jessica calls it an act of self-celebration. “Posing nude is celebrating yourself as a woman sitting comfortably in your own skin,” she says. “Sometimes, it’s a journey to get there.
